‘উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পরিব্যয় হিসাবরক্ষণ ও আয়কর’ (Higher Secondary Costing and Taxation) – XI (Semester 2) is a text book prepared for the students of Class 11 under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Under the New Curriculum & Syllabus 2024, Class 11 examination will be conducted in two parts – Semester 1 and Semester 2. This book is prepared following the Semester 2 syllabus only.
The book comprises of 3 units among which Unit 1 belongs to Costing and Units 2 & 3 belong to Taxation. Unit 1 discusses Cost of Materials, their Storing and Materials Control and the Methods of Pricing Materials. Unit 2 & 3 discusses Agricultural Income and Income from Salaries.
The book has been prepared keeping in mind the new curriculum. Detailed discussion on all the topics have been presented in a lucid and student-friendly manner. Tables, charts, lists, samples, adequate examples, etc have been presented in an easy-to-grasp pattern.
Project has been incorporated in the book for the benefit of students.
The Council has introduced different types of questions for Semester 2. All of them are included after every chapter with answers. The types are:
